MultiplexDX Presents at ESMO Breast Cancer 2024, Berlin

The MultiplexDX team recently showcased their latest advancements at the ESMO Breast Cancer 2024 conference, held from 15-17 May 2024 in Berlin. Led by CEO Dr. Pavol Čekan, CSO Dr. Evan Paul, and Team Leader Dr. Barbora Huraiová, our team presented groundbreaking research focused on enhancing breast cancer treatment through innovative diagnostic methods.

Optimizing Breast Cancer Treatment with Multigene Tests

Multigene tests are instrumental in guiding optimal breast cancer treatment by assigning patient samples to specific subtypes or prognostic risk groups. However, their clinical use often faces challenges due to single-sample discordance, which can impede accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

Our Advancements with Consensus Subtyping and Prognostic Risk Approach

During the poster session on ESMO Breast Cancer 2024, we presented a consensus subtyping and prognostic risk approach applied to the patient cohort analyzed by mFISHseq method that alleviates sample discordance and paves the way for clinical adoption and more precise treatment strategies.

Highlights of Our Presentation:

  • Consensus Subtyping: Our combined method reduces variability in test results, ensuring more reliable classification of breast cancer subtypes.
  • Prognostic Risk Assessment: We provide a robust framework for assessing prognostic risks, enhancing treatment personalization.
  • Clinical Impact: Our approach addresses key challenges in clinical adoption, offering a path to more effective breast cancer management.

We are proud to contribute to the ongoing advancements in breast cancer research and treatment. Our work at ESMO Breast Cancer 2024 underscores our commitment to improving patient outcomes through innovative diagnostic solutions. Stay tuned for more updates and  and findings from our upcoming presentation of new data. Together, we can make a significant impact in the fight against breast cancer.
